This lively village is bustling with activities. International competitions are organized, concerts are arranged and the ski area is a forerunner in modern gadgets.

From early afternoon until late at night you can fully enjoy a number of different après ski venues. For people who like variety, there is the Freizeit Arena, where you can practice or participate in 36 different sports. The Freizeit Arena has a swimming pool, a sauna, indoor tennis courts, and more.

The ski area of the Ötztal Arena is guaranteed snow because of its high elevation, but also because of two glaciers within the region! The glaciers are used for skiing in the summer months too. There are 35 lifts and 157 kilometres of slopes for both beginners and the more experienced to enjoy.

The valley station is at 1,350 meters, going up to the highest point at 3,340 meters. The Ötztal Arena is the only ski area in Austria with three peaks that reach above 3000 meters: the BIG 3. Thanks to these three high peaks, there are a number of panorama platforms that provide spectacular views of the mountains.

There is a large fun park for winter sports enthusiasts looking for a challenge. In the ski resort of Sölden alone, there are 23 mountain restaurants and huts to be found; from small-scale wooden huts with guitar-playing guests to mainstream restaurants.
