Chalet Kelle has twelve spacious bedrooms spread over several floors. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and/or shower and toilet, as well as a balcony or terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains. The chalet therefore combines shared spaces with plenty of privacy, even for larger parties such as families, groups of friends and companies.
On the ground floor, the traditional Tyrolean Stube serves as the communal living and dining area. Wooden interiors, authentic Austrian character and large windows create a welcoming atmosphere. This is where you start the day with breakfast, enjoy dinner together in the evening and catch up after skiing while admiring views of Fiss and the mountains.
In the lower-ground floor area, there is a separate living room with comfortable seating, a reading table and television. This extra space is particularly useful for large groups and families with children, giving everyone somewhere to spend time together or relax separately.
There is plenty of room for relaxation, too. The wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, rain shower, walk-in shower and a separate relaxation room with loungers. After an active day on the slopes, it is the perfect place to unwind. The chalet also has a heated ski storage room and free Wi-Fi.
Chalet Kelle normally accommodates up to 35 guests. Larger groups of up to 41 people may be possible on request. We will be happy to discuss the room arrangements and occupancy in advance so that the chalet suits your group.
A fully catered ski holiday with Wens Chalets
During your stay at Chalet Kelle, you can enjoy the Wens Chalets catered chalet service. For a week's stay, our chalet hosts prepare breakfast on seven mornings and a three-course evening meal on six nights. A selection of drinks, including beer, house wine and soft drinks, is also included.
That means no need to worry about grocery shopping, cooking or washing up. After skiing, you can relax in the sauna, settle into the cosy Tyrolean Stube or enjoy a drink with your group while our hosts prepare dinner. It leaves more time for what a group ski holiday is really about: the snow, good company and enjoying yourselves together.

Chalet Kelle at the foot of the slopes in Fiss
Location is one of Chalet Kelle's main advantages. The chalet is at the foot of the slopes, just a few minutes' walk from the Möseralmbahn and Schönjochbahn ski lifts. You can be at the lifts quickly in the morning and return to the chalet easily at the end of the ski day.
Ski hire shops and several après-ski venues are also within walking distance, including the well-known Hexenalm and Hackl's Bar. If you fancy a drink after skiing, there is no need to take the car or ski bus.
The charming centre of Fiss is only a short walk away, with restaurants, shops and other amenities. This central location means everyone can plan their day independently, without having to organise transport for the whole group.
Skiing in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area
From Chalet Kelle, you can explore the varied Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area in Austria. With approximately 214 kilometres of pistes, modern ski lifts and slopes reaching over 2,800 metres, the area suits both beginners and experienced skiers. Its sunny setting, wide runs and excellent facilities also make it popular with families.
From Fiss, you can easily reach the different parts of the ski area. Beginners and families can enjoy wide, accessible runs and excellent ski school facilities. More confident skiers can take longer routes towards Serfaus and Ladis or tackle demanding descents such as the Frommes run and the steep black Direttissima piste.
That variety is ideal for groups with different skiing abilities. Some can enjoy gentle blue runs while others explore the more challenging terrain. At the end of the day, everyone meets back at Chalet Kelle to share stories from the slopes.
Getting to Chalet Kelle from the UK
Chalet Kelle is on Kelleweg in Fiss, in the Austrian Tyrol. For guests travelling from the UK, flying is often the most practical option. Innsbruck Airport is approximately 90 kilometres from Fiss, with an onward journey of around one to one and a half hours by hire car or pre-booked transfer, depending on conditions and traffic. Munich and Zurich airports offer additional flight and onward travel options.
If you prefer to drive, you can travel from the UK via the Channel Tunnel or a cross-Channel ferry, then continue through mainland Europe towards western Tyrol. Journey times depend on your UK departure point, crossing and chosen route, so allow extra time for winter traffic and possible delays.
There are seven parking spaces at the chalet. Further paid parking is available in Fiss if your group brings more cars. Once you arrive, the ski lifts and village centre are within walking distance. We recommend suitable winter tyres and carrying snow chains where required.
Travelling by rail is another option. You can take Eurostar to mainland Europe and connect with onward trains towards Landeck-Zams, the nearest main railway station. From there, continue to Fiss by local bus, taxi or pre-booked transfer.
