Village

Fiss is located near the three border point of Austria, Switzerland and Italy, the heart of the Tyrolean Inn Valley. The village is beautifully situated on a plateau surrounded by the mountains of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area.

The traditional farming village has transformed into a modern ski resort in the last decade, even with all the comforts and latest facilities, it has not lost its charm. The village has a friendly atmosphere where families and friends all come together. There is something for everyone in Fiss. For non-skiers or snowboarders, there are breathtaking hikes, tobogganing, and more. After a day in the snow all winter sports enthusiasts gather in and around the famous Hexenalm directly at the bottom of the village run, a particularly lively après ski. Those who want to go on, can at the Hackls Kaller in the heart of the village.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

The ski area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has 160 kilometers of slopes, with exciting runs up to a height of 2600 meters and numerous other adventurous activities. It is an ideal ski resort for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities with special attention for children. 

Experienced skiers can indulge here. There are slopes of all different levels including 30km of black runs. The many good quality mountain restaurants in the area, make the skiing experience in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis complete. For cross-country skiing, Fiss is an attractive choice. There are nine beautiful trails in Fiss which connect to a further 90 km of scenic trails in Serfaus.
