Les Menuires is a winter sports village in the French Alps. The village has called itself "the smile of the Alps" due to the many hours of sunshine and the semicircular arch of the main building. Due to its central location - in the ski area of Les Trois Vallées - it's the perfect base from which to explore the more than 600 kilometers of ski slopes.
Les Menuires consists of an old and a new centre. Preyerand-La Croisette is the old centre with a lot of high-rise buildings. The new centre, Reberty Village and Les Bruyères, are actually villages, built entirely in chalet style, with a lot of wood and stone. In both areas, you will find all kinds of shops, restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs. There is also a fitness center with a sauna and an indoor swimming pool.
Reberty Village is built against the ski slope and is ideal for the winter sports fanatics, especially for the very young winter sports enthusiasts among us. However, the cozy atmosphere of this part of Les Menuires also makes it very attractive for families. There is a separate children's park in Les Menuires and also three sledging slopes for tobogganing. The "Roc" n Bob "is definitely recommended, this 3.5 km toboggan run starts at the mountain station. Other activities in the area include dog sledding and snowmobiling.
