We enjoyed our stay at chalet Silian in Saalbach. Nice house with spacious bedrooms and a quiet location. Definitely recommended for large groups.
With our family consisting of 24 people, adults and 10 children aged from 0 to 15 years, we occupy the entire house. We arrived very early at the guesthouse, but our staff Henk-Jan and Heleen already allowed us to enter the house. While we were allowed to use the living room, the rest of the stay was cleaned. This way we could recover from the long journey and pick up the ski equipment. During our stay Henk-Jan, Heleen and the cook Yentl provided us with delicious meals, they were very hospitable and always available for questions. The house is a bit further away from the center of the village, but by bus it was easy to get to the slopes (and ski school) or of course by car. We enjoyed a wonderful, well-organized holiday!
Very pleasant stay, Henk-Jan and Heleen were great. We also liked the house very well, very spacious. The only downside is if you want to take the ski bus, it often runs full (direction Hinterglemm). Walking to the tow lift is approximately 10 minutes. Very doable. If there is enough snow you can ski back home from both slopes.
We had a great week staying at Chalet Silian. We were a group of 23. The hosts Didi and Nena were excellent, with their attention to detail and excellent service with food and drinks. Catering for late arrival, meal time changes and dietary requirements with always a big smile and no problem. They are a credit to your company.
