We stayed in this beautiful and spacious chalet with 7 adults and 7 grandchildren (ages 5 - 8 years). Almost on the slopes of the ski resort of les Menuires / Val Torens. Ideal area, even for small children! The centerpiece of the chalet is the large and cozy living room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas around it. Downstairs a sauna and jacuzzi where much use has been made! Point of attention is no or insufficient possibilities to hang / store clothes in some bedrooms and bathrooms. Partly thanks to the excellent care of our nice and spontaneous hostesses, Inez and Nicole, our stay at Chalet In the Clouds has been a great success! The return trip on Saturday December 30 was a "disaster". The pass from les Menuires to Moutiers was a complete ice rink. Not sprinkled. It took us 7 hours to cover the 27 km !! Children therefore missed trains and planes. "Man made chaos"! Shame on France!
Chalet in the clouds, a top location in terms of chalet (especially the living room layout with fireplace), proximity to the slopes, and breakfast as well as hospitality from the ladies.
